Our story

A warm welcome where the roads meet the wild.

Ishasha Junction Hotel grew out of a simple idea: travellers crossing Uganda's south deserve a clean, comfortable, friendly place to rest, run by people who know and love this corner of the country.

Who we are

Hospitality with the savanna at its heart

For years, travellers have passed through Ishasha on their way between Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi. We built the hotel to give them somewhere proper to stop: hot showers, honest food, secure parking and a good night's sleep before the next adventure.

Our team is local, and our pride is local too. We know which sector the lions favour this week, which guide tells the best stories, and how to get you a gorilla permit when they seem impossible to find. That knowledge is yours the moment you arrive.
